Frequently Asked Questions

Some of the most frequently asked questions (FAQs):

How does Callvertise work?

Callvertise is a pay per call marketplace where sellers can list their offers and buyers can create the campaigns for the respective offer. Callvertise assures smooth routing of calls from seller to buyer. All the payments are assured for both the parties. While sellers get the authority to decide their minimum bid price and the disputes accepted for the calls that they are providing, buyers get the power to raise a dispute for any faulty lead as per the dispute methods entertained by the seller. All the disputes are audited by our team and the best decision will be made in favor of either party.

What can I do as a seller/publisher at Callvertise?

Connecting with Callvertise as a seller/publisher means you generate the pay per call leads and you are looking for buyers/advertisers who want to buy the calls. Sellers will have to select the category for which they want to sell calls. They must select the category form the dropdown list. If you don’t find your category on the list, don’t worry. Just let us know through skype or email and we can check what can be done. Sellers also get to choose the subcategory (details for the type of calls), buffer time (minimum call duration to qualify for payment), cost (minimum bid price for one call), geo location of the calls and available dispute methods. Once you create a traffic source, a number will be assigned to it post approval by the team. Sellers may start routing calls to the allotted number once they see any required CC for the source. Payments will be cleared for the sellers once the leads qualify through the 24 hours dispute period.

What can I do as a buyer/advertiser at Callvertise?

Connecting with Callvertise as a buyer/advertiser means you buy the pay per call leads and you are looking for sellers/publishers who want to sell the calls. Buyers will have to choose an offer from the list available under the “Offers” section of their account. A campaign needs to be created for each offer that buyer is interested in. One campaign cannot be connected to multiple offers. Buyers can set the number (the number on which the buyer wants the calls to be routed), campaign budget, bid price (bid by the buyer cannot be less than the min bid mentioned for the offer) and concurrency cap (maximum number of calls to be routed simultaneously to the mentioned number for selected offer). Every offer has accepted disputes shown under the respective field. Buyers have 24 hours of dispute period where they can raise a dispute for a specific call. Team verifies the authenticity of the dispute raised and hence makes the decision.

How disputes work?

Every offer has the accepted dispute methods listed. These dispute methods are selected by the sellers. Buyers must adhere to it and no disputes out of the listed options will be entertained. Buyers must raise a dispute for the specific call within 24 hours starting from the time when the call is routed. All the disputed cases will be reviewed by the Callvertise team and the decision will be made by the team in favor of either party. The decision made by the team will be final. No disputes will be entertained once the dispute period is over. Recordings at Callvertise will be taken as reference for monitoring.

How to create a traffic source? (Sellers/Publishers Only)

Sellers must create a traffic source to start selling with Callvertise. Following is the step by step guide to creating a traffic source:

  1. Click on “Traffic Source” tab on left side panel and click on “Create Traffic Source”.
  2. Select the category that you want to create a traffic source for in the dropdown menu at the top. In case you don’t see your required category listed there, you may contact us on the skype and we can check if we can add that to the list.
  3. Choose a name for your traffic source. This will be visible to you only. You may set the name to anything as per your convenience.
  4. Mention the details for your calls precisely under the subcategory field. For example, if Travel is selected as category, the subcategory field may include the airlines supported etc.
  5. Mention the buffer time for the calls. Buffer time is the minimum duration that each call must qualify for a successful payout. Any calls less than the specified duration will not be considered as converted and no amount will be credited to the available settlement amount.
  6. Mention the minimum bid price per call for your calls. Buyers cannot bid lower than the minimum bid for the leads.
  7. C Name is the company name as mentioned during the signup. This field cannot be changed by the seller.
  8. Geo Location is the country for which the leads will be provided. All the callers should be from the country specified under this field. If you want to sell calls for different geo locations, please create different campaign for each geo location.
  9. Select the accepted dispute methods from the list. You may select multiple or no disputes for the offer. Buyers will be able to raise a dispute request from the options selected in this section only. You may edit the selected options anytime. Disputes selected at the time when the call is routed will be applicable irrespective of whatever changes made to the traffic source afterwards.
  10. Click on “Create Traffic Source” and the team will approve the listing after review.

Sellers may always return to “My Traffic Sources” for checking the concurrent call requirements or editing the traffic sources created already.

How to create a campaign? (Buyers/Advertisers Only)

Buyers must create a campaign for any offer listed to start getting the calls. Buyers must create separate campaign for each offer. Calls from only that offer will be routed to the number mentioned in the campaign. Following is the step by step guide to create a campaign:

  1. Navigate to “Offers” section from the left pane and click on “Offers”.
  2. All the details for the offer can be found in the respective column. Click on “Add” button next to the offer you want to create campaign for.
  3. Mention the number that you want the calls to be routed to under “Number” field.
  4. Set a campaign name. This name is visible to buyer only. This is for buyer’s own reference and does not affect anything about the campaign.
  5. Set a budget for your campaign. This is the maximum budget for the campaign. This amount will be deducted from the wallet balance and reserved for this specific campaign.
  6. Ring Timeout is set to 60 seconds by default. This cannot be changed by the buyer.
  7. Mention the bid price per call for the offer. You may see the minimum bid and the maximum bid for the offer at the top of the page. Buyer’s bid cannot be less than the minimum bid.
  8. Concurrency cap refers to the maximum number of calls to be routed simultaneously for this campaign. At any given time, the live calls to the number cannot exceed this value.
  9. Click on create campaign and add funds to the wallet. The team will approve the campaign after review.

Buyers may always return to “My Campaigns” for changing the bid or concurrency cap.
